Today we had our SDA appointment and everything went well.We were picked up from our appartment at 1:45 for a 3:00 appointment. Triffic was so bad along with the snow that we had to jump out of the van and walk the last few minutes to make our appointment at 3:00. We arrived at 2:55, we made it! We can come back tomorrow at 4:00 and pick up our paperwork so we can travel to the region. While our translater is making photo copies we are waiting at this cafe called KOQE XAY3 and it has free WiFi. We see these cafes everywhere' like Starbucks at home. We are able to get online and send out emails. We ordered sandwiches and coffee. Very good coffee and hot sandwich. The cafe plays american music, I mean Engligh. It's the first meal we have had since we arrived. We've just been eating snack food, pasta and oatmeal in our appartment. Kiev is a beautiful city. We hope to get back to this side of town before we travel to Mariupol. It looks like we will be here in Kiev untill Sunday night. It's 8 degrees outside, maybe colder, with wind and snow falling. People are out walking around in this. the streets are busy with people walking and traffic is heavy. It's a very beautiful town, it's old with beuatiful buildings. The arcitecture is amazing. I would love to see this place in the spring.
