Monday in Mariupol
A taxi picked us and our translator up from the train station and drove us directly to the orphanage. Once there we waited in a hallway for quite some time watching kids walk all around. A few of the girls were decorating a christmas tree as their Christmas is on the 6th or 7th of January. Our translator did some paper work then we were called into the office to meet with the director. After a brief interview we were led into a room and to wait to see our guy. When he walked in he gave us such a big hug. He was really happy to see us. Next we said good bye and told him we would be back later to see him. We went to the apartment where we will be staying for the duration of our trip. By now it was nooning and we were starving. Our translator said he would be back for us in 20 minutes to go to the notary to sigh papers. We ate the snacks we brought from home, granola bars with peanut butter on top and instant coffee (very handy). After singing papers we went for lunch. Our translator asked if we wanted @izza or local burritos. Local burritos it was and oh were they good! A must for going back. After that back to the orphanage for one more quick visit and last stop before heading home was the grocery store. Our translator picked out some chocolate for us that was like no other we have ever had! Yum! Getting Good on the Blackberry
